Jack Stephenson was born in Newport Pagnell in 1930. He'd have said he was an unremarkable man, but what made him pretty remarkable was that everyone he knew adored him.

He lived his life in Old and New Bradwell in Buckinghamshire, and loved nature and the outdoors. Jack passed away in 2020 at the age of 90, but his work is still enjoyed now. Examples of his wood carvings, walking sticks and archaeological and metal detecting findings are catalogued on this site. 

Jack's wife Joyce passed away in 2021 also in her ninetieth year. They were happily married for 68 years and their ashes are scattered together..
